Day 62: Rescue Squad

Holy housemates! The shopping is in peril!

If the gang want to eat in their last week, they're going to have to save their shopping from a fate worse than death...

This week the Housemates must form a Rescue Squad, responsible for any and all emergency situations that might occur in the Big Brother house.

The tree house has become Rescue HQ, complete with an emergency phone which must be manned at all times by two Housemates.

Whenever the allotted pair hear the phone ring, they'll immediately have to ascertain where the emergency is taking place and what the nature of the emergency is. They'll then dash to the rescue of the shopping.

Taking it in turns to man Rescue HQ, they'll respond to emergencies in pairs of their own choosing.

For two whole heroic days they'll be rescuing their shopping (as well as gold tokens representing special prizes) from a series of perilous situations.

Any shopping rescued is all theirs!

Here's what they'll be wrestling with for the next 48 hours:

Burning Building

There's a Town Hall in the garden – a building which has a tendency to catch fire.

Each time it bursts into flames, the Rescue Squad members will be ready and waiting to catch any shopping which jumps for safety.

Laser

In the Sewer (the large task room), the shopping has been tied to a chair.

A bright green laser beam is heading towards it slowly. If the laser beam hits the shopping, it will destroy it.

Two Rescue Squad Housemates, stuck together with double-sided tape, must free themselves to press the ‘Off’ buttons to save the shopping from total destruction.

Bomb

On Main Street (the garden), the shopping is surrounded by large barrels labelled ‘gunpowder’ – each with a coloured wire representing a different housemate.

Housemates must answer three questions correctly by cutting three wires in the correct order to disable the detonator.

Each mistake cuts a minute from their time. They must attempt to disarm the bomb and save the shopping before the bomb explodes.

Are our housemates ready to search for the hero inside themselves?

Are they prepared to fight for food, shopping and the Big Brother way?

Housemates! Assemble!

would be nice to see an overnighter - this lot have had it too easy with the shopping tasks and havnt really been stretched - it would make LF worth watching as well as that the last couple of nights has been very dull

6.03pm: The HMs are torn between it being an eviction or a styling session. But are either right...?
