What do you use it for?  I know printing but I mean photos or documents etc.

HP Officejet 6300 All-in-One Printer series   it flipping eats in - as a student I use quite a lot but am finding it prohibitively expensive  

Epson all in one Stylus Photo - run it on very inexpensive compatible ink sourced from various Ebay shops for every day printing and treat it to a proper Epson cartridge set if we have saved a photo collection for printing off 

We have a Lexmark. We didn't use it very often and found the cartridges dried up really quickly. It's now shoved in a cupboard.

Epson dx7450 had it a few years now and also buy cheap compatible inks from ebay shops

 I actually had to go hunting to find it, as it's so long since we used it.

Printers are a Man Thing and I am reliably informed by my man thing that we have an Epson. I don't touch it   I'm not in charge of replacements either

A laser printer for me. One cartridge is quite expensive to buy, relative to the cost of one ink cartridge, but the long term cost is much less.

I currently have a Brother HL-2130 laser printer, It's about a year old now and is still on it's first cartridge - though admittedly we're not heavy users.

I don't. I do all my printing at work!

I've only ever had HP's and while I don't do a lot of printing they've always been fine for me. 

If you don't print photos and only use it for documents, maybe look at laser printers 

got an epson sx218

ink off ebay is really cheap-£6.99 for 15 cartridges of any colour

and if any epson packs up & says you need to get it repaired or a part has worn out etc..just go on youtube & 9 times out of 10 you'll find any easy way to remedy it

We have used them for years at work and they have been good and reliable. 

I have a printer  . . . i keep it in the local library .
