I said this would be Callum's downfall - he's forever stuck with his nemesis.

In fairness: earlier in the week, BOTS started dedicating discussions to individual HMs in the run-up to the final. They've already done Gina, and it's Dexter's turn tonight. It does make some sense seeing as they've got his "nemesis" Callum there. The alternative HM discussion would be about Sam, and let's be honest: that wouldn't last long...

Ah ............so when she was slamming Callum for weeks it was all correct and she was so perceptive. But ,,,,,,,she simply wants to discredit Dexter.

I would say he's classic Machivellian and if Dexter supporters don't see that I'm a bit surprised TBH.

Stop talking too him like he's a child BB... and stop asking the bloody obvious!

Does he lipread all the time, I wonder? If so how does he do it in the DR? I know he has a hearing aid but he's said he still has difficulty.

Not sure if anyone's gone into the details of the house setup, but I'm presuming they've got an inductive loop in the DR - and it's a quieter environment.
The rest of the house probably has "good" and "bad" spots, and Sam also has problems when several people talk at once...

An inductive loop only really makes a difference if you have a Loop setting on your aid(s).

Again, I'm making presumptions here, but I would "presume" they took advice when they were designing the house and took Sam's specific needs into account, just as they did with Mikey in BB9 and Steve in BB11...

I don't think she is correct about much to be honest. Personally I quite liked Callum up until the last week, when he just seemed to get a bit too obsessive for me!

I know, but it seems a bit unfair to not give the departing HM a bit more personal attention - if you get what I mean?

Discuss them in depth, have a bit of a heated debate, change the mood and have a laugh..... and let them ease up a bit after the hotbed of the house and the eviction.

I need to be careful here, but: I get the impression they're treating Callum with "kid gloves" a bit. There were a few insights from the guests (and even AJ picked Callum up on a couple of points yesterday), but when he denies or just plain ignores the comments, they just drop it. That's why Ian Lee came across as so heavy-handed: he was the only person there really taking Callum to task...

One of them went to the treehouse and the other stayed down in the garden and they threw something like a Frisbee to each other.Rivetting .

It was a cork, from one of the various bottles of something.

Well, at least BB's allowing them to make their own games again.
In the early years, HMs used to make games all the time (I still have fond memories of Eliabeth in BB2 making a "Kerplunk" game out of plastic bottles and joss sticks). However in the later C4 years, BB cracked down and would even take "sock balls" off of the HMs...

BB was going to clear it away with all of the rest of the detritus, They made a special plea for it to be kept....and BB relented.

You could well be right, Eugene

Callum was a coiled spring prior to leaving the house and we've all got our theories as to why that was.  We've discussed it to death, gone round in circles and ALL have the t-shirt to prove it..!

I wonder if he, Callum, is exhausted and they realise he needs to be in a good place right now.

True, but would they be willing to pay for aids with the loop setting, if he didn't already have it?

Really? So Iain Lee talks to all the ex HM's like that? I haven't seen it. If they'd been told to handle him with kid gloves he wouldn't have been able to speak to him like that.

No one has had that sort of interview - not even Daley.

I'm saying this and then backing ot .........if Dexter gets an interbiew that's even a 1/10th as bad as that they'd be uproar. Double standards and riduculous talk about mental instability etc. He was in a houseful of people who were ridiculing him behind his back - Dexter made a play for the girl he fancied and constantly had digs and so he lost his temper.

Big deal ..............locked up with people 24/7 who are taking the pee would make even the sanest person lose it.

Shocking.

Eugene said that Ian Lee was the only one to give Callum a hard time on Bots.  He obviously broke rank, don't you think?  The others - again, as Eugene pointed out - were no where near as strident with him. They did their usual psych stuff that they always do.

Obviously, it (Ian Lee) didn't make for pleasant viewing for Callum supporters, and as I said earlier it would have been nicer/better to have brought Callum's end of house time to a happier conclusion; give the fella a break and let him relax, so to speak.

No where did I say Callum is mentally unstable - why mention it?

Then again, you've just said that being locked up 24/7 in that house would make even "the sanest person lose it".  I don't disagree; it would depend on one's constitution as to how much it would affect them.

One last thing, I'm expecting Dexter to get the p taken something rotten when he's evicted.  Whether they'll lay in to him as well, I don't know.  They should if they're treating all the HM's the same.  If they don't then it'll be BB's fault and not the viewers or the forum's.

See you tomorrow
