Empty house!

So the producers interviewing them know they are lying?

Really, where did you get that idea?

The asparagus told me...

Never trust an asparagus....spikey wee things.

Do you mean artichokes, Fluffy?

Although, I suppose spears are pretty lethal weapons too

Asparagus tips!

But they're not spikey, not prickly spikey anyway.

Globe artichokes on the other hand are mean b*ggers to prep.

Yep, that is the truth of his predicament.

I think it's what started the rot.

The silly s*d could have taken advantage right there and then and got the viewers onside.  Jackie was dreadful, 'orrible!  He missed a golden opportunity, missed the bus and when he finally realised what had happened...he'd blown it.  Any plan/manouvre that followed was bound to fail.

I agree he missed the bus 2-3weks ago.He cowered like a little girl whenever Dan or Jackie tongue-lashed him.

if jackie had given me a bashing id had cowered in the corner too, also theres that thing called respect for your elders, just me , i thought Karis did well for her brother,

Producer:  We're going to ask some questions and we want you to think of the most off the wall, mad answers you can give.

HM:  OK, but I'm not very 'mad'.  I do like cherries though.

Producer:  Great, we'll run with the cherry love.

Roll VT........

Producer:  So, you like cherries?

HM:  YES! I absolutely LOVE them.  My whole house is cherry coloured; everything I eat has to be cherry flavoured.  I'm so wacky about cherries that I even wear them as ear-rings.  Blah, blah....etc. etc.

Producer:  You're in.

Would you, Justy? That's a shame because people like her need telling - in spades!

I'd have given it back both barrels especially if the woman was trying to own me in front of everyone else.  Being older would have been the last bit of respect I'd have given a thought for - she had precious little respect for Callum afterall.

Look at her now - she's c*ck of the walk on Bots and thinks she's something else.  Can't stand her.

Up to a point: I think they  know there's a tendancy to exaggerate.

The producers do sometimes fall into the trap of seeing what they want to see, though. They did that with Dawn in BB7. She told a small lie in the early stages of the audition which convinced the producers that she was going to be that year's villian. She later admitted she'd lied and was nothing like that, and others who knew her confirmed it, but the producers couldn't change their view of her.

Aaron did a similar thing in BB12, only more so. He constructed a fake persona for the auditions, but dropped it the moment he entered the house. The producers had so bought into his persona that they convinced themselves that what they'd seen in the auditions was the "real" Aaron and the Aaron in the house was the fake persona. Jamie East and Victor confirmed (in different ways) that the producers were convinced he was faking it in the house, and that misunderstanding defined virtually the whole series...

No wonder they seem comfortable that Callum lied on his VT. It makes sense now.

He's raged at the wrong people ever since though.

If he was going to go into campaign mode he should have picked up on Jackie's rudeness.  Bang on about something that's blatantly obvious with proof.

Would have been perfect; would have got the public on his side there and then.

See you in LF?

Cosmopolitan

sorry, I havent read thru the thread tonight but I am watching LF.  I wish Charlie would leave Callum alone, she nominated him, how much more does she have to do to let him know she doesnt want him in the house with her, and YET, all bloody night on LF so far, she's following him round like a puppy begging for some scraps of love from him

why the HELL does she expect him to even like her now???  she's coming across as rather desperate and cant believe that he might not like her anymore

BS

I fell asleep last night and I've just watched the end of last night's show.   I'm now totally decided.   Callum's a knob.     Dexter's a more likeable knob  - he knows the image he's portraying and he knows it's working for now but not might get him to the end - but at least he's not alternating all the tedious brooding and posturing.

That was a good read - 'plebs and bile gate' for two pages, a whole two pages to extract some explanationand a typo,  and then some one turns up on page  three asking ' where did he say that?' and  off we go again........

I know everyone has probably seen this before but  humour can never  be underated..
