I  an adopted uncle for my friends girls, the eldest is  just 4, they all live  in  the country now and have sheep and things as close neighbours,  the 4 year old came to spend the day at my place a while back , she  wandered around the place and declared it to  be' very small and where are your stairs?' and then 'is this your front room? ?' - I answered 'yes' and she asked ' so where are your flies?'

 

I told her mum and she sighed an exasperated sigh and said ' I hope to god she's not asking everyone that, last time she told everyone that I wasn't having a birthday party because I had already had one in prison....'
