I wouldn't say that I like Dan now, but I dislike him a lot less. Now that he's been able to drop his obsession with Wolfy, he's started to return to being the HM he originally promised to be (his apology to Wolfy for potentially damaging her experience also gains him Brownie points).

I think BB very discretly have used Dan's friendship with Hazel to get her side by *casual* chat - he had already expressed concern about the two of them in the SH to BB as shown - what better person than someone with Dans speciality in child abuse to *chat* and see if BB had put words into Hazels mouth when the incident first happened ... just my thoughts after seeing a few things over the past few days

That is a downside I will admit.
I felt indifferent towards him at first. although because I liked Michael he was a bit irritating keep going on about him being an actor - even though he was right lol. I've warmed towards him more recently and prefer him to be there more than some of the others who I don't find interesting.

Dan's rant made me laugh. I can understand why Callum bugs him, because he'd drive me round the twist. The constant motivational pep talks, advising HMs and reminders that he "is a nice guy" would grate on my nerves too.

Matt, Dan's Boyfriend seems to think Dan has realised about Hazel but is trying not to say anymore - he wont say why he thinks this so I am guessing body language etc Matt by the way doesnt like Hazel and keeps disputing Dans comments about keeping friends etc outside the house and hopes if Dan stays he distances himself
he is on BOTS again tonight so he might say more about Dans reaction over the last couple of days
Day 43: Has Gina swayed the public's perception of Hazel?
Last night Dan aired his concerns about how Gina and Dexter's treatment of Hazel during their time in the Safe House may have affected the public's perception. He reasoned that their decision to choose Hazel for the horrible tasks may have planted a seed in people's mind, especially as, in Dan's opinion, they are popular housemates. Today Gina decided to challenge this view, feeling that it was unfair to say that she had any hand in tainting Hazel's reputation. "The public have their own minds. And say if they loved Hazel and then me and Dexter were bitching about her, we could have been hated," she reasoned. Dan was quick to defend his point of view, stating, "All I was saying is that maybe your thoughts were in the public's mind more because it was over a few days and it wasn't just one day Hazel got bad things to do". Gina didn't seem too convinced. She argued that for tasks such as the stink bomb challenge, they were forced to choose the most glamorous housemate and unfortunately that was Hazel. She was firm in saying that any public backlash was of her own doing. "Me and Dexter, we're just normal, average people in this world. We don't have that impact on other's people's decisions". Not wanting to cause an argument, Dan replied, "I'm just trying to work out why the public dislike Hazel so much, that's all." Neither party seem convinced with the other's argument, but for now they've decided to agree to disagree on this one.
