Again, I'm basing this on the latest Betfair odds, but have simplified some of the more complicated fractions.

Sophie: 9/2
Jack & Joe: 5/1
Sam: 5/1
Gina: 9/1
Dan: 10/1
Charlie: 10/1
Callum: 16/1

Daley: 16/1
Hazel: 19/1
Dexter: 22/1

Jackie: 24/1
Wolfie: 29/1

Observations:

There's been a lot of talk about how much Gina's odds have shortened (28/1 last week, and astronomical before that), but the real feature of this week's odds is that the whole overall spread is a lot tighter. Dexter has also come in a lot (he's down to 16/1 with some bookies).

The other notable change is Wolfie. Most bookies still have her with the main pack somewhere around 14-16/1, but there's been a huge negative trend on Betfair (possibly picking up on how unpopular she is on places such as DS.)

The only other change worth noting is that Dan and Daley have halted their respective slides in the betting. In particular, Daley has come back from an outside 24/1 last week (which was unrealistic anyway, IMO), and is back in the main pack.

Callum is a fair bit shorter than 16/1 with some bookies, but not so as to disrupt the placings.

The top 3 are horrendously dull – but unlikely to be tested against the public vote anytime soon – so I suppose these prices are justified.

Gina and Dexter have both shortened because they are now proven against the public vote and have each gained a cult following. However, both will remain in danger under the current eviction process as head-to-head VTE doesn’t necessarily help HM’s that have a fan-base.

If the forums get their wish – and Wolfy is nominated I reckon she will be toast and BB will require female newbies to realign the gender balance. Last year we didn’t have any newbies which is a rarity – as the first 6 evictions provided a 50/50 gender mix. Maybe the winner of BB14 hasn’t entered the house yet? Wishful thinking from a disillusioned viewerâ€Ķ

I’m not particularly interested in the “to win” market but I have made money on both evictions so far and will be keeping an eye out for obvious opportunities in the “next eviction” market each week.

Says GINA fave to WIN !!!!

I'll do a proper betting update on Sunday, but Gina's favourite across the board (2/1 with one of the bookies!   ). Also, Dexter's now 4th-favourite on Betfair and a couple of other bookies - mainly because Sophie's odds have dropped a lot tonight (6/1 to 10/1 in an hour! ).

Final nail in my BB coffin if Gina were to win.
