I'm surprised at them refusing her entry - she's not actually been convicted therefore has no criminal record - surely that's the basis upon which America refuses entry????? 

 

No doubt they'll make out they're making a stance - drawing one of their infamous red lines blah blah blah

I don't know for certain, I'm just assuming that is the case. Which probably means I am wrong.

Wasn't Johnny Vaughan banned cos he was an ex con. .he did time for murder or manslaughter I think..

As for the others I think I recall hearing on the news years ago they had to make special applications to enter.. again I may have dreamt that as well ..my brain is no longer that reliable

You could well be right, it was a long time ago, around the time he was doing the Channel 4 breakfast programme.
