How come Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger are free to travel to the US. they've actually been convicted of taking drugs.
I agree Cologne hypocritical to say the least!
I'm surprised at them refusing her entry - she's not actually been convicted therefore has no criminal record - surely that's the basis upon which America refuses entry?????
No doubt they'll make out they're making a stance - drawing one of their infamous red lines blah blah blah
I can imagine Saatchi sitting at Scotts, congratulating himself on a job well done.
According to the article in the Daily Mail, Nigella should be able to apply for a waiver, although it can take some time to come through - maybe that's what the likes of McCartney and Jagger have done?

Is Robert Downey Jr not American? I think they need to let him in, cos he is one of their own.

I don't know for certain, I'm just assuming that is the case. Which probably means I am wrong.

Maybe Nigella should use that to make them reconsider her entry. I once heard that Johnny Vaughn we barred for the same reason.
Wasn't Johnny Vaughan banned cos he was an ex con. .he did time for murder or manslaughter I think..
I may have dreamt that so ignore me if I did
As for the others I think I recall hearing on the news years ago they had to make special applications to enter.. again I may have dreamt that as well ..my brain is no longer that reliable

You could well be right, it was a long time ago, around the time he was doing the Channel 4 breakfast programme.
