I'm not glued to it the way I was with the Casey Anthony case, but it is interesting. I couldn't believe the demeanor of one of the prosecution witnesses today (Rachel Jeantel). What an attitude she had!

17 year old African American shot and killed by hispanic neighbourhood watch man. Caused quite a stir when Rev Jessie Jackson and others suggested it was a race crime. Zimmerman (defendant) claims it was self-defence.

yes Scotty - I have to say that I'm not entirely surprised with the verdict - not because I think he's innocent (personally I think he's guilty) but more because I don't think the State proved sufficiently that he did it.  One of the weirdest cases I've ever observed.

Have to say I know feelings are running high, but I'm finding the anti-white rhetoric a bit uncomfortable.  Zimmerman was Hispanic not white but most of what I've seen and heard is directed towards white people.

I guess as double jeopardy attaches he can't be tried again but I would be very surprised if Trayvon's family don't pursue a civil case against Zimmerman.  Whether they financially gain is debatable but very uncomfortable all round.  Like OJ, I personally feel this guy has got away with murder

Hi Scotty. After the farce of the Casey Anthony verdict, I wasn't sure what the jury would decide. Having watched the trial, I thought the prosecution failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that George murdered Treyvon Martin, and I thought the defence fought a good case for self-defence. I think the right verdict was reached.
