I used to have the single of Silver Lady (until Mr Yogi cleared out the loft).

I was still at school when Starsky and Hutch began and was a fan of the show, although I preferred Paul Michael Glaser To David Soul.

A bit of useless info re David Soul - he has lived and worked in the UK since the mid 1990's and became a British citizen in 2004.

Yes, yes and yes.

at last, someone else who couldn't stand his forced warbling

Nope, never did get the appeal of his singing.

Or his high waistband look.  Guess Simon Cowell was a fan though

EC, I have never been a Rod Stewart fan.  I remember as a child finding him dead creepy, especially when he had 'Do you think I'm sexy' out in the charts.  Remember I was about 7 at the time and thought it was utterly embarrassing that someone would sing about sexy.

But I listen to Radio 2 and they like to kick the play ass out of certain tunes, and Rod is doing a 'live on Radio 2' thing tonight so as you can imagine almost every other song has been Rod over the last week.

Now if you'll all excuse me, I'm just off to sing Daf Punks 'Get lucky' to anyone that will listen.
