You're obviously not drinking enough.

Mine didn't budge an inch and the refuse collectors must have found it too heavy, as they didn't even bother trying to empty it.

I always cringe with embarrassment on recycling day when they come to empty ours and all you can hear is glass, and the rest of the street could probably put their collective recycling in one bin.

Indeed.

If anyone mentions it, I'm going to tell them it's medicinal, for my bad back, from carrying heavy loads of bottles.

Maybe it's time we considered buying boxed wine or this stuff.

Notice I didn't suggest something so ludicrous as just drinking less.

I've never seen it in a tetra pack I'll keep an eye out for it.

We regularly go to a Chinese restaurant in the town and always get a bottle of the same wine.  As soon as we walk in the manager always reaches for a bottle of it without needing to ask us.  Anyway, recently we were there and he told us that his supplier had stopped stocking it, & he only had 6 cases left, so he had put it out of the way and took it off the wine list and is keeping the rest for us when we go in.

I don't know whether that's fabulous service, or a reflection on the amount we drink
