Well it is radio 2!  I have "A Rush of Blood to the Head" and think it's a good album in the sense that I can stick on a CD player and play it all the way through and enjoy every track.  A solid album.  Anything that gets me fired up with a passion for music, anything that breaks new ground (in my mind), anything that is just brilliant music - absolutely not.  An album of solid 7s when I'd much prefer a patchy album with just one 10!

They're like James really, but much less interesting

It seems that every time these questions are asked, that we move forward a decade. Works that have been feted are no longer mentioned. This last chart seems to be full of inoffensive pap. Though to be fair at the end if the day it 's all optional entertainment. I'm not going to get upset because my top 100 aren't there! They are all on my iPod and I can listen anytime I want.

Very true - I'm going through some 'old' stuff on you tube at the moment. These top 100's - all a bit daft - we all have our own top 100's and one things 100% certain ..........they're better than anyone else's cos they're ours.
