It amazes me that i have the most complex organ in the universe that has confused and amazed scientists for centuries.
But i can't remember where i put my keys

Old age
But in all honesty, the sky amazes me. I often sit looking at the night sky, and it blows my mind that it never ends. As humans, finite is a given, because in our world everything eventually ends.
You should follow Col Colin Halfield on twitter/facebook. His posts are incredible. Every day he puts up pics of earth from the Space Station and they really are amazing. I know it's the opposite of what you're saying (you're looking out not in ) , but it's incredible how small we are. We think we're so big and a major part of the world and beyond, but we're only a miniscule dot as a collective and as an individual...we barely make a dent!
I can't find anyone on twitter under that name Temps. Do you know his twitter user name?

Have you ever thought of selling the story and pics of your 'complex organ' to the press/media? You could be (almost) sitting on a fortune
It wud need a microscope not yet developed
I am geniunely fascinated by the sun reflecting off the ripples on water.
Its like a million diamonds, dazzling.
And ...
Moonlight reflecting off the tops of buildings - kinda spookyly beautiful.
Could stare at either for ages

Agree with you on both - and love watching the flames on a real fire, I find it quite hypnotic..
Yep - flames are hypnotic.
Buildings lit up at night are gorgeous.
The moon too - I find it bizarrely attractive (as in attracting my attention)

Night time - frosty pavements - looks like thousands of twinkling stars.
New babies (my babies in particular) I was seriously when mine were born - the thought that the little person had been inside all that time ..................it's a common and every day occurrence but - still a miracle every time IMO.
I'm amazed by sunsets.
It's lovely to be out in the country on a clear night and sit and marvel at the heavens.
We are but a spot of cosmic dust.
New babies are one of mine too, whenever i watch programs about birth i always get teary when the baby is actually born.
i am amazed at how quickly my family can turn a nice freshly cleaned home into a total tip! i swear if i timed it it would be seconds....
I am also amazed at as i get older i worry more about what others think I thought it was meant to go the other way!? Maybe that will change in time
I'm amazed when i see wildlife.
On Sunday morning at 8.30am on my way home i drove past a huge deer standing on the road side.
A few weeks ago there was a barn owl sitting on the traffic lights.
And once in my life time ... a kingfisher sitting on a "No fishing" sign at a reservoir

lol
I like a bit of wildlife - one of the most memorable things I saw (terribly ordinary really but so close up) was a Thrush just outside my french windows with a snail in it's beak trying to smash the shell.
Am I a bit easily pleased?
I'm amazed that it's 1:10 and I'm still faffing around on my pooter when i should be in bed!!

This is one of my faves, nothing compares to a clear sky in the country.

If i couldn't wear contact lenses/glasses and they couldn't improve my eyesight at all ... then i'd be registered blind.
So - it always amazes me when i put my contacts in and go from the blind world into the perfect and crisp seeing world.
I never take it for granted, not once.
I always have a sense of 'wow' when I put them in.

Imagine people with eyesight problems in the old days, they would have had no life.
