I'd like to see Lowdon stay in F1. I think he's got a lot to give. He speaks a lot of common sense.
That interview reminded me of this great quote...
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it".
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
@ McLaren lads.
I missed it. I was checking something on the net

Both taking the opportunity to stand on the top step and grab a photo.
My damn internet connection again!
It seems mighty queer that Rosberg's getting poles now
It would seem to be no change in terms of Mercedes. Either Nico is now relaxed and can drive without worries and so putting in good quallies or Hamilton has just mentally now backed off a bit.
Let's just hope Lewis decides to race from the start.

Having said that, did you see how close he came to Rosberg's pole time?
Just enough to be second
Just realised I wont be able to see all the race today.
Special surveillance duties elsewhere, eh?

When I retire I can enjoy the full race weekend.
I'm still sceptical about whether Mercedes have been 'managing' the remainder of the races to secure Nico second spot.
Handbrake start!
Well this all looks like it's going to be 'as is', so I'm signing off...
Catch you all later.
bit of a damp squib of a race weekend that wasn't it ?
is it just me, cos it doesn't really matter who comes second, or has the season ended already
Just watching the replay from this afternoon.
Are we going to get a race?
Since the opening few laps it's all gone a bit
AH! Lap 28 and it looks like we may have an on track scrap between Lewis and Nico.
I love Riakkonen - been watching his funniest moments on You Tube
Great stuff

I like him too, but I think he has had a fairly poor season and I suspect he may not have much longer in F1.
Is Bernie losing his grip?

He lost it years ago Sprout.
BBC to end it's rights to show F1 early. It's going to Channel 4

I'm at work so can't read too much but that is dreadful news. I remember when ITV had it and there were adverts.
I think my days of watching F1 live may be coming to an end.
I refuse to buy into Sky. Hate the organisation.
That has really out a dampener on my Monday.
*really really sad face*

Well that's something. Now all I want is for them to take Suzie, David et al and I will be happier.
BTW: I clicked onto the BBC Blog where a lot of people are making noise at the Beeb over this.
One or two comments made a lot of sense. Scrap our payments to Euro vision. Drop Top Gear and Evans' salary...

Devastated!!!!
But at least it's going to another terrestrial channel.
Jenson Button splits with wife - why the hell can't sports stars, film stars and most celebs keep a marriage together, maybe they should never get married, might be best all round.
