I expect you've heard/seen/read about the crazies who are looking for a middle-aged couple to journey to, around and back from Mars, in a mission they reckon will take a year and a half! 
Now, I'm no great relationship success story myself, but this looks like a project full of potential bear-traps!

I would be more concerned that something went disastrously wrong with the spacecraft so far from home. Your not going to be able to call the AA or Green Flag to sort it out !!

I'd go with MrB....according to the clever peeps on Stargazing, fatties are the best sort to send on these trips (as long as lift off is still possible!) and once I have scoffed all the food I can eat my beloved....he loves me, I'm sure he would understand
