  Aww, I'm quite overcome, I've never had such lovely birthday wishes

I spent the day changing every lightbulb in a large Victorian country house in readiness for a visit by children who can't tolerate UV light.  Then my husband took me out for dinner, so I didn't drop in here.

Yes, I'm definitely a nice lady,  but I started to feel my age after spending all day Wednesday and Thursday climbing up and down ladders - and I've got to do it all again next week when they leave
