Channel 4 showed it all tonight including the conclusion that it is indeed Richard III. Really fascinating. He'll be re-interred in Leicester Cathedral.

I didn't see the programme Cologne, but I've followed the dig etc. on the news. And yes, it is fascinating...... looks like Shakespeare was wrong

Where's Baldric and his time team?  This must be right up his street!

 

I never really gave it a thought.  If anyone had asked me, I'd have just said that I imagined he was buried in some cathedral some where - probably Saint Paul's.  It's amazing to think that after hundreds of years, in 2013, we can say for definite that Shakespeare was bullshitting about the withered arm!
