Watching the Charlie Brooker thing and they are poking a bit of fun at it. Got to say, not seen it, but it does look like a right old pile of horse poo.

I've never watched it either EC... but I think I did read somewhere today that Eddie the Eagle was in it

I saw it on Charlie Brooker the other night. May I refer you to my previous comments about "Celebrity Car-parking" what I wrote back in the early nineties? :smug:
Omid Djalili and Dom Joly tweeted to try and nullify all the p taking.
Still couldn't stop it being a big old belly flop though.

You will need to remind me as I really don't know what "celebrity Car-parking" is or refers to. I have only ever seen Charlie Brooker a few times, ever.

I noticed Jo Brand on the panel. Whatever credibility she had has now diminished to the size of a negatively charged electron.
Eddie won it was naff but was getting 6 million viewers, the final was quite good
I feel I have to stand up for our local boy Tom. Most critics panned it after the first one, but came round to it after that. As for Eddy 'the eagle', if memory serves he's a lawyer now.

Since posting, I've had the opportunity to see a few bits of it. TBH it is not my kind of programme, it feels like typical ITV fare, pretty poor. I'll pass on this one.
A lawyer - now I did not expect that. He must have had that alternative career in the back pocket before he became famous. Thanks for the info Cologne

He has a law degree, but I don't think he actually practises.
And I think he only took up law at the begining of the centuary!
