the new boss of the Bank of England is getting 250 thousand a year housing allowance, it doesn't bear thinking about 

There are 180 thousand people with a spare bedroom in council homes and only 70 thousand one bedded accommodation.. you either pay it and sink further into poverty, or go to a private landlord and pay more which would mean that you would be in receipt of more benefit than you were originally getting.

This is not about saving money, if people thought about it it will save bvery little.

Research showed that 42% of those that are struggling will be the ones who will suffer the most. Nearly two thirds of those affected are sick and disabled.... I hope Cameron and his crew rot in hell, I feel that strongly about it. I wonder how they sleep at nights in one of their many spare bedrooms...no I don't, they care only about themselves.  

I can see an uprising in this country shortly  

People are heartily sick and tired of what's happening here 

keep the poor buggers down Pam... seems to be the Toy parties motto, and I can only see it getting worse, homeless and suicides rising by the day...and a job well done by this government  I feel so very angry and sad for those that are about to suffer more, terminal and chronically ill people, I find no words that can convey my anger and frustration for the poor of this country and count my blessings I am not in that situation. 

Dame i feel the same, my dad is bad on his feet (60yr old) though an old injury... he also gets very breathless.

With all the benefit cuts and box ticking that's already happened he was kicked off his sick (dont know what it was called) benefit last year. He is getting sick notes from the doctor atm (for a short time as its not something the doc is allowed to do long term) which long story short means he's getting less than he was but slightly more than job seekers. He's already struggling to heat his two bed high rise flat.... he only heats the living room (and and has 3... yes three quilts on his bed) I was there over the winter months with the kids and it was freezing! (i have helped out a little with £ since this)

So with him struggling as it is and knowing he's going to be kicked onto job seekers soon AND have this bedroom tax added.... I am with you Dame.. I actually hate these numpties (replace a stronger word) so much!

I'm watching Question Time at the minute, just to see if anything's mentioned 

I can see the riots starting again and shop lifting will go through the roof if people lose anymore money and now their homes 

Dont forget the the council tax benefit allowance for city councils being reduced too which in some areas will be passed on to the people to pick up the shortfall

Honestly Jen, I am finding this so upsetting and I can't believe we are standing by and letting it happen. I never thought I would be shedding a tear for the way our government would be treating hundreds of thousands of the poorest in society. They all jeered and laughed while they did it too, its sickening, disgusting and like I said, I hope they all rot in hell.

I can only hope your dad and others manage to get some help, otherwise it will drive some people over the edge and this shower of shite will not lose a wink over it.

I've skim read the first part Damesy. I'll read properly over the weekend 

he's wrote loads Pam, bear in mind this is the Independent and not affiliated to any political party 

I was watching The Wright Stuff the other morning and they were discussing  these cards and they already have them in America and your not allowed to buy pet food on them or clothes so what would people do with their pets 

maybe they are supposed to eat them And use the pelts for clothing - another wee bit off the welfare budget!
