South Wales Syd....its unlike anything Ive heard before and we are used to storms here right on the coast,,,,its just looking at the trees at the back which are whooshing around

its just theres some huge trees nearby and they are waving around

I think it is good that they are waving Amy, it is if they are rigid they fall over...I think  , I know it must sound scary, and is scary, but I am sure you will be OK.

Now I am quite envious that you are so close to the sea to hear it's emotions  x

Thanks yes all is ok, snow is melting as its wet cold and windy still but not as extreme as last night. I havent gone to work and feel a bit guilty as I probably could have got there.

I'm in South Wales too Amythist. Luckily it seems to have calmed down. Sounds like it was really scary where you are   You probably bore the brunt of it 

Don't feel bad about work - we were given warnings not to go outside! And for all you knew it might have got even worse than last night.
