It was a hard 3 weeks at times but we and Rylan made it to the end

 

 

Many thanks to Jen  for starting this corner for those of us who enjoy seeing Rylan make the most of his BB experience, and for entertaining us.  Personally the only one who made me laugh so much   Thanks to you all for being here in this safe corner with me lol.

Lol, I became very thin skinned one night in the hl thread, there was so much negativity I felt like a dark cloud wash over me and I had to leave. I didn't go back for a few days. Even then I waited till all the BB talk was over and BOTS was discussed and joined in with a couple of the last posts...mainly with Erin who although we had different views like Baz I could still have light hearted banter with her. NO waaay am I looking at the hl thread tonight as I know some won't be happy with the winner and I'm enjoying that he won

I never go in the HL thread YR to much seriousness in there for a show..

I dont know where the negativity comes from but have had a very dark and sensitive week and have struggled to keep going with it but I dont give up when I am passive about something or someone 

 

Really pleased his Mum got to phone in - he wont be doing much celebrating as he hits Manchester for his first show tonight

Rylan needs a lot of stamina to go straight from one show to another tomorrow lol. I hope the audience give him a great reception on the tour ...even though some think he can't sing he's a hell of a lot better than Geoff on BOTS

Yep, i thought he interviewed really well - just like in X Factor I think (I hated that he kept getting through there, but I liked him!) and on Twitter - he's just so grateful for the success he's had.    He knows very well it may turn out to be short lived, but hell, he's making the most of the ride.   A real genuine guy.   Good luck to him.

 

I love the HLs threads usually - for all shows, they're usually a good laugh I find, but, yes, I'd come out of that one drained most nights (and often give up half way through it was so depressing - like being in a room with Speidi )  twas a bit serious this time - i hope it's all forgotten soon.

Drama-prone Rylan took centre stage right from the off, bearing the 'burden', alongside jockey and eventual buddy Frankie Dettori,  of deciding which housemates should be deprived of the main House for their first few days. The duo took to the task with particular aplomb, chucking celebrities into the basement without hesitation and saving themselves to boot – much to the annoyance of soon-to-be sparing partners, Speidi.

When Rylan and Speidi finally met in person, it was clear that there was bad-blood between the reality TV stars, something which would reoccur throughout their time in the House. First we had the post-basement argument, and then came the Big Blogger incident, rounded-off by the biggest tiff of them all following the Diletter task. We learnt one thing from their squabbles, never call the X-Factor contestant 'fake' – unless you want a very emotional Rylan all up in your grill.

Arguments aside, Rylan was also known for his comical approach to tasks. Whether it be necking chilli chocolates to win treats, singing heart-wrenching renditions of Spandau Ballet's 'Gold' for the pleasure of Dictator Frankie or beating the Claire from Steps at her own song, Rylan always made sure he performed to his true-diva standard. 

And let's not forget about his dedication to his look. If he wasn't sporting a pink onesie, Rylan could often be seen in one of his many tops-come-snoods, pouting to perfection and strutting like he was on a Milan catwalk. But his vanity didn't hold him back from being a top housemate, choosing to shave off half his beard to win Claire's letter from home – even though Speidi had a go at sabotaging his efforts.

One of the most popular housemates in the House, Rylan had a notable bond with his idol, Claire (from Steps), and an unlikely friendship with burly Razor, who he got naked with on the penultimate night for a skinny dip in the pool. These bonds were the tightest but he was there for any housemate in need of a quick cuddle and a cheeky anecdote to make them feel better. We'll miss the vivacious way he lit up our screens but know it won't be long before he's back. A personality that bubbly will always float to the top.

Around 12,000 X Factor fans were in the City for the opening night, as Rylan Clark opened the show just hours after having left the Celebrity Big Brother 2013 house as winner the night before.

quite strange really that he wasnt popular on the show that they thought him good enough to open the show and used some of his medleys

I see Olly has quit the extra factor and there is gossip that Rylan might replace him

Thanx for the vids YR! They were great, he tweeted that he had very little sleep (i remember about an hr) from BB house to that! Fair play to him, he really hasn't had a single day off since XF even Christmas day! lol

I've checked a few times to see if there's a full version but no luck so far, I was enjoying the gangnam style and suddenly the vid stopped, annoying  I'm glad he got such a good reception  I could see he was in his element despite only a few hours sleep.

 

One thing about him on X Factor was he lasted a lot longer than others who were thought to be popular or better singers, so don't understand why he's called by some (anti Rylans) an X Factor reject when others who some thought were better went before him.

 

He's got a good personality and unique style so I'm sure he'll be offered work on tv and whether it's Xtra Factor or something else I'd watch

 

Sorry Jen I didn't see your response earlier Yes who had the most energy and fun in the house despite a very hectic schedule for quite some time, Rylan is the answer lol. Who was the most entertaining and not afraid to speak up to Speidi, Rylan of course. No wonder he won BB and is a very deserved winner

I watched it - confirmed my suspicion that he's just a really nice guy

Thanks muchly Mrs H for the link I've missed seeing him nightly Steve said what others who've spent time with him have said. I liked him on X Factor because of his personality and it was confirmed he's a genuine and nice person in BB. I hope being in the biz doesn't change him, he's great as he is, his Mum has a right to be proud of him
