When you swipe down there's a brightness icon Aims...I just asked my daughter 

Cheers for that, my daughter just mumbles at me when I ask for help I thought i'd better look at seeing as I haven't opened it since christmas day it's taking bliddy ages to charge

Pleasure Aims...my daughter got the new one too, her old one didn't have a backlight...It took hers hours to charge up too, saying that my tablet took five hours 

Did I tell you I bought lil Aims one and she bought me the same one glad you can turn it down as it's giving me a headache, tell your daughter thanks i'll let you know how I get on, it stay charging for now as it's wine time

Yes, I knew you had both bought the same Aims  I couldn't get away with the Kindle, daughter bought me one last year and I ended up giving her it. I like a book in my hand and just couldn't get used to it, most people I know love them

I prefer a ^real^ book as well but i've finished my Paul O'Grady autobiography and couldn't get away with not using it, I need to know how to download the FB and Gaga app now ^starts grovelling to lil Aims^

I use google market for app and stuff...I'm sure Amazon must have something similar Aims...give it a google and see

Thats not your kindle fire, thats the bright orange picture of Rylan on your screen.

DELETE all pictures of Rylan and you'll be fine.

It's taking ages to charge though, not sure if i'm doing something wrong but it's been charging since last night it could be cause it's the first charge
