I agree Aimee ,it would be shuch a shame if he let his popularity change him .Last night was so sad ,I could have cried for him .

Me too, it was lovely that he cared what happened to his staff.

I'd be surprised if his popularity went to his head, I think he'd feel a bit emotional to realise he's liked by so many. He seems self effacing, even when things were going wrong for him he still laughed at himself.

For him to care about his staff more than himself is a lovely characteristic, not everyone would feel the same in his position. It's a shame he blames himself, some of his staff are to blame, they don't have the same enthusiasm, energy and dedication that he has. He's a people person and a born survivor it seems so with his positivity I'd love to see what happens to him next

Me personally? nothing lol. The hotel obviously does owe others otherwise it wouldn't have to come to the ending it did with debt. From what I've seen of the series yes Mark was the Manager but he seemed mainly involved with the entertainment and maybe that's his forte as well as his people skills and not business accumen. I'm curious as to who was in charge of accounts and paying bills. Usually in companies there's someone specified for that job to see it gets done, if that person gave him plenty of notice he should have been forewarned.

Okay, Mark's skills are of one kind when in the profit margin business other skills are needed that he doesnt have. I guess I'm just drawn to people who I see are genuinely nice people and for me Mark is one of them
