Definitely! I've seen adverts on TV for "colourised" versions, but imo it wouldn't be the same.

I got the boxset with both versions but have never watched the colour one, I love that it's black & white

In 'The Snowman' ...................when they're flying through the air and they go past a ferry - a drunk looks out - does a double take and then looks at his bottle.

 

Ever since Harry (my grandson was old enough to watch it) we always say in a very silly voice - A FLYING SNOWMAN???


It's become a bit of tradition and we all wait for it.
