I'm almost there sprout, but you know me, I love the crimbo so I think the festive spirit will keep me ticking over

I keep thinking of little odds and ends that I really should write down but don't and then when it comes to it I get so annoyed that everything isn't in place 

I love the run up...and all the planning!

 

Although my well laid plans have been given a slight knock tonight..... I had planned a long day of Christmas shopping on Saturday... but my sister has just text me to ask me if I want to shop with her.

 

SHE DOESN'T KNOW ME AT ALL!!!!

 

I can't shop with other people! It's just all wrong!  

 

I agonised over how to politely tell her to sod off....but in the end I just agreed to go with her....as long as she promises me I can go off on my own. 

 

I then said I would bring Duds along and he would keep her company.

 

He wasn't happy when I told him....his exact words were "YOU SACRIFICED ME???!!"

we went for a long walk to a pub for lunch today with two friends and one of the  friend's mad sister.  Hubby got stuck with the mad sister on the walk there, and on the way back.

 

i had a great time

LOL! Presents are in and wrapped....house is like a shit tip but pressies are wrapped and as I do things ........I think....oh! I need to do that/this 

Thing that makes it all the more surreal though, is that I'm going to niece's on Chrimbo day for my dinner  

Dont stress Sprout, this time next week it'll all be over. Just enjoy it ...

Ah... I know what you mean. I have one of those lists (in my head) too. About a week ago I found out Christmas is at my house (we were originally going to my sisters).....so my list is now longer and a little scary

I feel your pain Aimee - I am playing a desperate game of catch up now having lost over a week due to man flu! Pressie buying had gone from clever considered purchases online to 'that'll do for so &so' grabs from supermarket shelves

It couldn't have come at a worst time, the whole house needs a clean through and there's still some presents to buy and I haven't even thought about the food shopping yet back to bed for a bit to see if I can sleep for an hour

I'm not too bad, almost organised. I think by tomorrow night (going out to Christmas party) the house should be sorted... well it has to be MiL is coming to babysit!!

My Christmas has been saved by my lovely daughter who is, as I type this from work, blitzing the house and preparing to put the tree up and stuff! Love you ickle - your help is appreciated more than you could know xxxxxx
