Morrison's have just phoned me - there is no sign or news of my stolen purse but - they have given me a ÂĢ50 voucher. I'm really touched by that.
Round of applause for Morrison's

Nice one - that is good
(ignoring the little malaysian girls who have to hand weave those tiolet seat covers in inner city sweat shops to keep the price down)
Soozy. I am gutted for you. I am sick of thieving, robbing, B's coming and taking our hard earned money and possesions. We had our car broken into 2 weeks ago, they stole aboutÂĢ15 in change what we keep in the ashtray, and the Tom Tom which was in the middle compartment.
I do know that Morrisons will have CCTV footage of the tills, and I think they have given you the voucher so that you leave it be.
Morrisons do not like a fuss, and they do not like publicity, especially bad publicity, and I can assure you that a certain European type of people know this and especially target Morrisons. Please peeps, be very vigilant wherever you shop and keep a hold of your bags and purses and money. If you want to persue it, then tell them that you insist on them checking the CCTV, as it will be there and you would like the police involved. It was a hell of a lot money that you had stolen Soozy, so they just might let you see the evidence. Morrisons will know exactly who stole it and will have the descriptions, even the film evidence to prove it.
Apparently Sezit - out morrison's only have CCTV on the doors - not sure if that's true I'll look into it. I know all about the European robbers at places around the country but I very much doubt it's the case here - we live in a very 'white' low immigration part of the country (I think it's pretty exceptional around here) - we do however have our fair share of home grown low lives and scumbags - TBH - I really should have been more careful/vigilant.
The thing is 99.9% of the time I shop on my own and am always mindful .......I think the fact that there were two of us made me a bit more lax - if that makes sense.
Thanks everyone for kind words. I was thinking last night that if it had happened years ago when the kids were small and money much tighter it really would have ruined our Christmas. Obviously this isn't nice but it wont curtail our Christmas in any way. I just feel very sorry when it happens to people and it's all they have.
There really are some lazy, skiving, conniving, thieving rotten scum bags out there - I just hope they never find joy, peace and happiness at Christmas and they make themselves violently sick on the crap that they gorge bought with my money!
Aww that's a lovely gesture from Morrisons Soozy, well done them
well done to Morrison's for that Soozy
Hope that nice gesture helps you feel a bit better Soozy
Good Christmas spirit there from Morrisons
Well done Morrisons.
Noooooooooooooooooo - that's really a lovely thought but NO WAY!
My mum was trying to give me ÂĢ20 this morning NO, NO, NO.
Such a lovely thought - you really are a very 'sweet' person Sweet!
That's good news Soozy (not as good as finding the b******ds that did it, but good all the same)
Well done Morrisons .
Glad you got something at least, still doesn't make up for what you lost though I kept hold tight of my bag while out shopping today
