It's only been two short years, but it feels like the end of an era. In that time, we've sat through 40 hours of bleak and gloomy - but spectacularly gripping - TV. It's redefined (and quite possibly saved) BBC4; it's made us learn to love subtitles; it's taught us to say "tak"; it's given us the spin-off knitting pattern; it's given us a gawd-awful American remake; but above all, it's given us Sarah Lund.

Yes: tonight, we finally say farvel to The Killing.

It's probably fitting that - as at the beginning, and so often throughout - I won't be able to watch tonight's final double-bill "live". However, the feeling of loss is still palpable. For those who will be watching live, I offer a great big . I share your pain.

Would you not rather it end on a high than carry on and become something which is a shade of it's former self?

To be honest I have not seen it and only became aware of it through a friend. So jumped online to find out what it was. A Danish police drama. Personally, I've seen plenty of those to last me a lifetime.

But it sounds like some of you enjoyed it. Will you be getting the blu-ray/DVD for Christmas?
