Do you sing?     (Have you got a good voice - have you ever sung in public - if you were forced  to  sing would  you make a reasonable stab at it?)

Yes
I have been known to ask how's your fettle
I sing whilst driving, I am absolutely awful and would not inflict me trying to hold a tune on anyone

Sorry Karma. I truly am! You are right to feel confused.

It's from a very old (and UNfunny) joke (?) where a drunken member of the audience heckles the singer. (I think Canon & Ball used to do it.)
Now I feel embarrassed because it isn't even that funny - and not funny at all if you're not in on the joke. Not even a joke.
   It's best to ignore me.

1 Yes

2 Yes, Yes, yes a long time ago
My OH has a job which includes fettling.

3 When I was at junior, and middle school I was in the choir. When I was at senior school we sang at our cathederal one christmas. The thing is, I can't sing for toffee.I love singing but I am rubbish,as my son told me whilst we were singing nursery rhymes when he was 3.

Don't be daft! I was thinking 'Barry White didn't sing a song called Temptation'

The only thing I can remember about Canon & Ball is the one with the black hair pulling braces and saying "Rock on Tommmmeh"

1. Just a radio

2. No

3. Yes, I sing to myself quite a lot - I'm a reasonable good singer but can't belt out a tune like they do on the X Factor.  I make my own tunes up with pretty crappy lyrics on the fly quite often.  When I'm out I have been known to do a little bit of karaoke - but usually need to have a skinful before I pluck up the courage!

Not music...have Talksport on, for the little amount of time I'm in the kitchen, normally when I'm washing the dishes.

I use fettle  never heard of gawpy and thrutch

I sing, but not in public, to myself as I'm going through the house.
