Thank you everyone. Some lovely stuff up there ^^^ (especially the lily of the valley) - love it.

What a horrible birthday though  I had stomach cramps all through the night on Sunday - worse with vomiting on Monday (my birthday) rang NHS Direct - they advised me to go to GP out of hours. Was admitted to hospital midnight on Monday - tests all day yesterday - all clear and now much better - home this morning.

So much for giving up alcohol and eating healthier  Think my body was protesting - I was born to be bad

All better now - got some gorgeous cards and gifts and will celebrate later.

Thanks again

Was horrible Jen ..............1 out of 56 horrible birthdays aint bad though.

I have to give a big thumbs up to my local hospital though. The NHS gets a bad press on the whole - all I can say is we are very lucky where I live - all the nurses, doctors and auxilary staff couldn't have been more lovely - not wishing for or anticipating another stay but I'm so reassured that it's all good

sorry to hear this

hope the boiler and heating got sorted while you were away

MrsH

Boiler all sorted ......good result there. A moaning e mail to the insurance company paid dividends - they honoured the repair, free service next week and a full years insurance free with no obligation to take it on after the years up. Seems to me the word 'mis-sold' works wonders these days

And -THE HULA BEAR IS BACK  Feels like home

Sorry you had such a lousy birthday, but glad you are better now. There seems to be a lot of that winter vomiting bug about

Baz

I don't think it was the bug TBH - the out of hours were quite clear that they didn't want it bought into the hospital. It's a bit complicated but - it was kind of like my colon/intestines went into a spasm - personally I think it's a bit tied up with the colonoscopy I had a few weeks ago but ...........................I shan't go into detail

Other than boozy I suppose the only other word that rhymes with Soozy is Floosie ...........so - I guess you're forgiven. It could have been worse
