I've been catching up with........... etc.

Apart from the southern house price amusement section, the best supplement in Sunder's 'arms was the best eating out for under 50GBP

Not many in the Top Right and Yorkshire but they did find space for three old favourites; Bettys, The Magpie, and the Bay Horse.

I have no idea what a Sunders arm is ... but I would guess this is some good restaurant listing?

If so, who did they recommend in my neck of the woods Joe?

Rexi, if I'm ever going somewhere new, I always have a look on top table.

You don't have to eat cake at Bettys. Apparently one can purchase a bowl of soup and a small slice of bread for less than a tenner.

Errr, some of us do GJ! Against my better judgement I was at your favourite Sunday place for lunch yesterday, only time in my life I've ever sent something back and refused to pay for my meal. Hope it's better on a Sunday then all the badly cooked/ frozen shoite they serve up mid week!

You were lucky. The last time we ventured in there on a weekday lunchtime, we weren't served. The bespectacled young man behind the counter didn't pass our order on. They can't do much wrong with a carvery mind.
