I love going to the cinema early morning, you beat all the crowds.

Going to see the new Bond film in the morning next Friday.

Where I live we have two large multiplex (including IMAX & 3D) cinemas. Wednesday - Sunday it's a nightmare to go to them, parking is near impossible. I have found that if I need to go to cinema in the evening on those days I pre-book tickets and arrive early to secure a parking spot as someone else leaves.

I must say I would love a job working in a cinema, the vibe in them is so good. I know that the people are there to do a job of work. Do they get discount tickets?

This is a part time job as she is at college, she's been there just over a year now and loves it (especially since she turned 18 and her wage went up) the only probably with the job is where it is, it's on like an industrial estate and by car it's about 15 mins away but by bus it's an hour. she's on the popcorn stand and some of the prices are I think it's 2 free tickets a week she gets

That sounds like a great part-time job, mine was working in a butcher's shop Fri/Sat, although the money was very good.

Two free tickets, nice. Do you get to see many films with her?

The travel sounds a bit of a pain though.

I know what you mean about the food/drink prices. I tend to not buy anything but go for a meal after or before as an added treat.

She usually takes her boyfriend with her to use her free tickets. Most people spend about ÂĢ30 on food and drinks she got told off last week for putting too much popcorn in the tubs at that price I would hope the tub was full, some of the mangers do seem to be up themselves, the traveling is a pain but she normally creeps round her grandad to get a lift home

Before I got my job with the NHS I worked as a Cashier in a cinema for a year....and yes, we got free or discounted tickets.
