I mentioned it earlier in another thread pirate, but at that time they hadn't said that anyone had died. They have a man in custody. It just beggars belief.
I mean really, what on earth????
Too weird for words

I don't think you can delete a thread any more pirate, unless you are a VIP
one thing though
if it'd have been a gun that he'd used to kill 1 person, injure 11 more, it would of been major news everywhere
a car is a f*cking lethal weapon in the wrong hands
ooh door knock

It sure is, Pirate.
Some days it seems like the world is going mad.
It is about time that using a vehicle as a lethal weapon was recognised as being deserving of more serious penalties, it is just as deadly as a gun.

No no no, I just mentioned it in a thread, this is news and should have a thread of it's own.
It's bloody awful. Honestly every time I hear more about it, all I can think is 'what on earth?' 'what the hell is our world coming too?'
In lincs a driver pulled out of a junction and hit (and killed) a man on a scooter - his punishment? community service and a ban

The thing is Machel what where the circumstances of that?
This Cardiff one seems to be some man doing it for what ever his twisted reasons are.
Some guy went mental with a van and decided to run a lot of people over.
There were reports on the radio earlier that he was being chased by the police.

He was in a van and arrested before 6.30. It's mental. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

I heard a snippit about it earlier, I didn't realise that it had been a deliberate act.
People are monsters at times. I hope he gets a really harsh sentence.

I have to agree
Detectives were last night granted a further 36 hours to question a 31-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
Officers are also appealing for information about a mystery car seen driving on the wrong side of the road shortly before the crashes.
Detective Superintendent Paul Hurley said that the suspect left his vehicle and physically assaulted people between the crashes and also carried a steering wheel lock as a weapon.
According to unconfirmed reports, police are also investigating whether the driver was involved in a domestic incident before the collisions.
