We went to Spain with James Villas Ells... And the Cyprus with Thomson villas ... We found both of those good .

I should say that , although the flights were included , we hired a car to get us from the airport to the villa both times . But full instructions if how to get there etc.were included . We loved our villa holidays

Mrs Jer and her ladyfriends from the all-in keep fit, book club sector tend to look for villas in Turkey. They normally book with the owners who will usually pick them up from the airport. This year was quite a success. Lovely countryside, cycling, walks, swimming, boat trips, villages (and an earthquake)

What they do on their private trip away is of no concern to me. Although it seems to be beer, raki, gin, tonic, lemon, food, and very little er, dabbling.

We're keeping our eye on them, hoping for a holiday at some point in the future, my bessie mate regularly uses James Villa's to book their family hols - they get the flights included, but tend to hire a car also.

 

They've never had a crappy one yet...     we're looking for a nice villa with its own pool for next summer. 

Ells, several friends with villas abroad advertise their properties on Owners Direct http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk/ They usually organise transfers for you at good local rates, but if not I find Transfers4U extremely good, very reliable and  reasonably priced http://www.transfers4u.com/

I hoped that Supes might pop in. I could not remember the www!

We've been with James Villas, Ells. They were very organised and the villa was lovely.

You can't beat arranging your own holiday.

I stayed up really late last night hunting through loads of lovely places....I'm too excited already!

 

I need to find one close to town as my OH is the only one of the 8 who can drive so he doesn't want to be the errand boy the whole trip but so far there's quite a few choices so it's not even a problem.

 

And my hunt continues.....
