Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Hospitalised In Aberdeen

The Duke of Edinburgh has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary this afternoon as a "precautionary measure", Buckingham Palace said.

Prince Philip was admitted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary while staying at Balmoral with the Queen, a spokeswoman said, but details of the reason for his hospitalisation were not available.

It comes two-and-a-half months after he spent five nights in hospital with a bladder infection following the Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the River Thames.

It's all a bit worrying.

Same here. Not many admit to liking Philip but I do.

I know he's prone to putting his foot in his mouth but I kinda like him, gaffs and all

I'm never sure about that. He has a GSOH but of course Murdoch and his assorted republican pals attack the royal family whenever they can. Almost anything will do.
