Cheryl was the most vocal, 'jokingly' shouting "thanks guys" after Big Brother announced the result, later huffing to bed with the declaration; "whatever. F**k it".
It has been noted by the other housemates that she hasn't taken it too well.
Prince Lorenzo, on the other hand, seems to have taken it in his stride, musing; "I knew I was going to be nominated sooner or later... I'm totally fine with it". He tried to convince Cheryl that it was 'just a game', but we think it may have fallen on deaf ears.
Julian, as you would expect, has been very together, telling Julie in the garden; "I saw it coming... I think the people who I nominated knew I would nominate them, so I think they nominated me". He brushed off any attempts to cheer him up, stating that he was 'fine'.
Coleen was very quiet after the announcement, choosing to talk to Big Brother in the Diary Room instead of confiding in her other housemates. Just like Cheryl, she too seems to have taken the reveal personally, but is trying to brush it off, saying; "oh well, the public will decide. That's what they're there for".
And finally, The Situation. Well, we couldn't read his reaction at all. It was initially one of surprise, later mixed with a nonchalant, I'm-not-that-bothered attitude, but what is he really thinking?

Day 9: The young, the old and the floaters

For a House of fairly amicable housemates, nominations have so far caused some serious fireworks and as our celebs sat down to breakfast on Day 9, the touch paper was lit once more.

Ashley told Coleen that Cheryl had accused him and Harvey of having a game plan and in an effort to dispel the myth said: "Me and Harvey have been the most genuine ones. You, Martin, Julie are the grown up ones. At some point I'm going to have to chose my mates but it's not a game plan. I've got my next two already."

The judo champ may just have hit nail on the head as, with Jasmine's departure and the latest batch of noms, a very clear divide has emerged between the generations.

Our Nolan Sister seconded that one. "The quiet ones are all together with Julian, Sam and Julie, there's you youngsters and me and Cheryl float about," she said. "I come and see you but no one has got my back."

Julian and The Situation empathised with each other over the feeling that being up for eviction is a good way of changing your perception about things in the House. Julian claimed: "The world looks like a different place when you are a marked man. You feel bit disillusioned."

The Sitch added: "You start to doubt genuinality – if that's even a word." It's not.

Our one time loose woman has promised we are going to see a new side to her from now on. "No more Mr Nice guy," she said. "Everyone's been so nice out here that I've kept things to myself in case they thought I was a right b***h, but I won't now." We can't wait.

The Sitch has a feeling he is not going this week. Coleen has feeling she is. Five housemates are up for nomination ,who goes? you decide.

I cant stand that Ash

Big Brother gathered the housemates just after 10PM yesterday evening, following Jasmine’s eviction, telling them they had to gather on the sofas immediately.
In turn, each housemate was called to the Diary Room to give their two nominations to Big Brother in privacy.
Julian nominated “the occasional table,” The Situation saying that he had had enough of him. Julian dubbed The Situation as “sexist, dense with a body like a bag of spanners.” His second nomination was for Prince Lorenzo. “He’s well meaning but has no character and is a bit dull.”

The second housemate to nominate was Julie whose first nomination was for Prince Lorenzo. She claimed that the Prince did not fit in with the group. Her second nomination was for Coleen. Julie mentioned that during the pie throwing task Coleen said “everyone would like to pie Bet Lynch.”

Martin’s first nomination was for Coleen and cited that she had been “unfair to Sam” about something she had written. His second nomination was for Rhian “Purely because I don’t know her that well.” He said that he felt Rhian avoided him and “may have a problem with talking to me.”

Cheryl nominated Samantha saying “she’s not sure of her, a little bit dodgy and there is a game plan that she doesn’t particularly like.” Her second nomination was for The Situation. “There’s something a little bit snidey about him.”

The fifth housemate to nominate was Prince Lorenzo whose first nomination was for Cheryl. “She called me a plant and it upset me.” His second nomination was for Julian. “I don’t know who he is; he hasn’t made an effort to talk me.

”
Coleen’s first nomination was for The Situation because they are not connecting and thinks they are on different planets. Her second nomination was for Julie. “I feel uneasy in her company, I don’t know if she’s being fake.”

Samantha nominated Julian and said “I don’t feel supported by him and is like a cold fish.” Her second nomination was for Rhian. “I don’t like how she’s playing and manipulating Ashley in the house.”

Harvey’s first nomination was for Danica as he’s still not clear on what she does. His second nomination was for Julian because “he’s never involved and playing it safe.”

Next to nominate was Ashley whose first nomination was for Danica. He claimed she’s being fake. His second nomination was for Julian. “I don’t know much about him and he keeps himself to himself with ‘me Julie.”

Danica nominated Julian saying “there’s a sense of awkwardness, I don’t understand him as a person.” Her second nomination was for Prince Lorenzo. “All of a sudden he stopped talking to me and he shouldn’t have judged me before he got to know me.”

Rhian was next to nominated and chose Samantha. “She took Jasmine’s side and has been a bit distant.” She also nominated Cheryl because “she has a defensive side which makes me feel uncomfortable.”

The final housemate to nominate was The Situation who nominated Coleen because they have differences in communication. Cheryl is his second nomination. “She didn’t get me straight away and she thought I wasn’t as nice as I am.”

As a result: Cheryl, The Situation, Coleen, Prince Lorenzo and Julian all face eviction on Friday night.

I think there is or was quite a strong bond between Harvey and the 'younger' ones - the oldies are a bit indiscriminate with their votes. All in all it brings up surprising results. TBH - I prefer it when a few of them are up.

Day 9: Five in the frame

There's a bumper crop of housemates in line for eviction after yesterday's nomination announcement.
Cheryl, Coleen, Julian, Prince Lorenzo and The Situation all find themselves facing the public vote - and each of these poor souls has good reason to fret about the potential outcome. On the other hand, they all have reason to keep the faith. Their individual progress so far has been a mixed bag for each of this quintet. It might be an ideal time to take stock of their House-bound actions to date. So shall we do just that?

Yes. Let’s...

Cheryl

The artist formerly known as Heather entered the House in some style, firstly performing to perfection as a Drama Queen alongside Julie and, since then, enjoying all kinds of larks with everyone in the House. She's inflated her swimsuit, asked some slightly scatological questions and demonstrated her propensity for renaming bodily functions. As time goes on, however, Cheryl's beginning to show the strain. Being nominated caused her to strop to her bed muttering naughty words. If she can't keep a lid on this freshly bovvered state of mind, she could put all those early-day, fun-time antics at risk.

Coleen

Coleen's displayed some seriously impressive grown-up negotiation skills. She was one of the few people to confront Jasmine over her withering Danica comments and she was the first to talk to both parties after Julie threw a drink over Cheryl on opening night. She's also become firm pals with Julian and Samantha. Despite that, there's a strained friendship between Julie and the Nolan sister which is threatening to reach boiling point. Both have complained about the other in confidential discussions and, given they're both pretty extravert, this one might erupt at any time – and that won't do our Loose Woman too many favours.

Julian

The Joan Collins Fanclub is a stoic presence in the House, side-stepping arguments and contenting himself with making the odd wry one-liner, or lightly mocking his room-mates in the Diary Room. He's bonded hard and fast with Julie, the two of them coming across like pensioners at coffee morning and their double act has become a large draw for viewers. Having said that, Julian's avoidance of the big stories in the House might discourage voters from helping him with the vote-to-save. They may well question whether any drama will spring from his pursed lips, or if he'll remain too much of a background figure to make it worth their while.

Lorenzo

The Prince is arguably one of the least well known members of the House, despite his royal status and his Bachelor-based fame across the pond. But he's quickly become a viewer favourite, dealing with Jasmine's advances and slurs with a delicate grace. His flirting with Danica has caught a few eyes too, a plot-thread which may lead to a gruesome triangle with The Situation. Even though his mild-mannered approach is an easy watch, it's possible the audience are left wanting by his slightly anonymous approach to the BB experience. "Yes, he's impeccably turned out – but what does he actually do?" they might ask...

The Situation

Anyone expecting the hard-partying Jersey boy from American reality television might've been disappointed by the fact Mark Sorrentino has turned out to be a placid, home-cooking, lovelorn gent. If you’ve not seen the US show, it showcases the wild lifestyle of Italian-American crazies, flashing their abs and coining strange new turns of phrase. Since he's been in the House, however, Mike's been a quiet and confused presence - possibly jet-lagged. His strange, unspoken love for Danica has made us all feel a bit awkward. Will American fans do their best to keep him in the show all the same?

Well – that's where you lot come in. There are five in the frame and you've got every opportunity to save your fave before Friday strides around the corner.

Choose wisely, friends.
