Xochi, if you're doing loads of mopping..... go buy a few spare mop heads.

There's only so much rinsing out a mop can take (you don't want to end up spreading the stuff)

I've just gone in the bathroom and sprayed my deodorant all over my bathroom floor!  After my bezzie had already scrubbed as best she could. I"m hoping the stink will be gone tomorra Cos.

I have two words for you: throw rug.

You know, over the spot.

But it's in my loo Lori! I have nowhere else to go. Literally. And I mean that too!  (ref to Becky).

As long as that scent is marking it, its the foxes loo now

Yep. Thanks for that uplifting message!

I have no idea to what you are referring. But I do. So I'd win BB because I'm a totally up-front HM. I have my flaws but I'm honest. Honest. Pick up your phone for me. The number is.... 0000999942281111111. And add 08 for me.

I swear by Zoflora every time for getting rid of lingering odours.  Relatively cheap and available in most supermarkets.  Failing that, there are products called Odour Neutraliser or Biodour-Ex (made by Selden), both popular with care homes for getting rid of smells.

Maybe your local council could advise you as regards it coming into your home,it may be classed as a pest and they might trap it.

You have my sympathy as regards fox piss,it's rank.We have urban foxes but they stay outdoors, they actually shit in the wild birds water bowl contaminating it.They also pea against the wheelie bins and the stench is awful, easy to wash down outside of course.

So I want you all to know the obvious solution was to rip the carpet out of the bathroom.  Got a mate around to to do it and it has been packed up in bin bags now. The carpet, not the foxes but if you asked me right now... Anyway, I'll phone a carpet bloke near me and talk about vinyl tiles or lino stuff for my bathroom. I think I need lino or vinyl now and for my hallway too to make my wheelchair roll more easier. Anyone got any links to take this up and whether it keeps the heat in when it's cold ?

Xochi

Cushionfloor vinyl should be warmer than bog-standard (excuse the pun) vinyl or lino, though it will be a bit more expensive.

Who should be responsible for keeping the garden neat. If the state of it is allowing 'vermin' in then it could be classed as an environmental hazzard.

The council might be able to serve them with a penalty.

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing
I well remember seeing a fox half jump/climb/scramble over one of my fences. Currently my lawns are in a right state, it's probably cats. Even so a local Sir Bufton Tufton type keeps telling me to get a .22. "shoot the buggers!" he says. After reading all the stuff about buying other animals excrement, pulling up carpets, disinfectant etc. one can't help but think that he is right.
