It's not disgusting, but I do find it a bit bizarre tbh and it does feel like a challenge. It's as if : if you don't like me, it must be because you can't accept me as a man. I do have every sympathy with his struggle, (have some v rl experience) BUT it's not a reason to like him per se

I actually remarked that Luke A seemed a nice bloke.
Then I was told he was transgender (I honestly hadn't noticed).
My point being, if he hadn't have said anything then I doubt many would have questioned his gender at all.
He looks the part and lives as a man so I'm not sure what more acceptance he's expecting? Has that ever been made clear?

The guy is doing something that no other transgender person in this country has put themselves through. In the beginning he didn't even want to take his top off because of his scars. He's done that since and I remember you supes in another context saying 'unless you've walked in somebodies shoes for a mile'. Why not apply that to Luka?

There have already been 2 (that I remember) in the BB house and the attitude seemed to be to reach the final transition rather than continue to talk of their past

Yes, I said that to my neighbour not long after it started. It was along the lines of looking at him you would never guess that he was born female, but on the odd occasion when they show him (from behind) walking in to the diary room he does have shapely hips.
Can't say I've ever paid enough attention to ANY of them to have noticed things like that.
