He was getting a lot of abuse the other day when I read his twitter.

 

But then he did say something about Derry people  on his twitter that wasn't very nice then tried to backtrack and say he said SOME Derry people.  Which he didn't.

 

It's a shame that he couldn't just put his point across without lumping a whole town together and then highlighting the (awful) responses he got from A SMALL amount of Derry people.

Good point Ells...He needs to wind his neck in a bit really,there was a post here a few weeks ago allegedly from his Twitter,he was mocking Conor's *Hitler* haircut then proceeded to castigate Conor for allegedly referring to his pubes as Hitler's,

a lot of what is going on with Benny is his own fault - as much as I like him he has been too vocal

 

should have stepped back - closed a few of his accounts down and ignored the abuse and negativity especially avoiding Conor's family

 

he didnt need BB to advance his career - that was already established before going into the house

Is he trying a bit of damage limitation perhaps or do his Big I Am antics again from the safety of radio ....,if he stopped his generalising and trying to score points he'd have no need to do this,then again they're all out for attention be it negative or positive..

It is a shambles Erin,a total shambles....The producers knowing the calibre of person they are dealing with take full advantage of that to manipulate,change,rearrange as they see fit,...most are so desperate for *Fame* their own integrity goes out the window,sad really that what was once great entertainment has in general gone downhill so badly.

Yep.  Then he assumes everyone who tweets in response is pro-Conor but that's not at all true, they're just against his assumption that we're all assholes like Conor.

Be glad you haven't seen what one person on Twitter was writing a few days ago   The most disgusting things about a young girl from Derry who died recently and about Bloody Sunday and personal attacks on anyone who tweeted her about the filth she was writing.  Her twitter account has gone now.  

 

It really is only a gameshow but channel 5 have a lot to answer for by letting Conor off with what he said.

All of this would have been avoided if Conor had been thrown out immediately, as he should have been !

Ells the things said on FB starting the day after his rant was shown were the most sickening comments I've had the misfortune to read in my entire life....What Conor said was bad,no denying it was rude crude and bliddy nasty,the irony was the authors of the comments were condemning him yet making comments that could only originate in the bliddy sewer...Sadder still was the reaction to them,they were excused applauded,liked or simply ignored by many who were expressing their anger at him.I cannot for the life of me understand how or why ANYONE could attempt to balance it's fine to ignore,agree or excuse what was said about any person with a trace of Irish blood in their bodies yet be so outraged at him.

Oh dear, its getting out of hand now isnt it. C5 must take SOME responsibility, surely?? We have all had arguments during BB, myself included. But to take it to this level , is becoming too much now...

well that's just horrendous to think about. It's still hard to accept that BB thought Conor's remarks weren't bad enough for him to be thrown out. Some may have forgotten, some wish the the rest of us would forget and continue to make excuses. There is no excuse!

Yep, unbelievable isn't it. Don't know if it's just me but since Caroline was evicted - who Emma and the other girl sucked up to  I've noticed BBOTS seems to have turned against the Outsiders

I've given up on BBBOTS it's the pits.

I'm not putting all the NIs in one boat, but Conor's family had a hateful FB page and when they where threatened with police, they closed it and started a new one which is locked to anybody they don't know. So the
Deana abuse will carry on behind closed doors. She's just a young girl who nominated the 'man from Derry' on a whim and he and his awful family have never forgiven her.

It's wrong Cologne,100% wrong,but the day after the rant was shown I sat in tears at the things said on FB about him his family myself and all Irish in general....Accusations of incest, bestiality and other horrific allegations,how dare they and for that I will never forgive the rotten sick barstewards who wrote it.

I understand Lee, but posting to hold her head under water while he is penetrating her behind is the worst thing I have ever read and his family let that go on until the papers picked up on it today and they upped and found a new site.

Cologne I reported the original page and I reported the page that has now been closed to public viewing as did a few of my friends so I'm unsure what will happen to it.

 

As an Irish person I find Conor's behaviour disgusting as well as that as his friends and family.  As for his supporters - well words fail me but one person does not a nation make  nor does the deluded fans of Team Macker 

 

I also read Becky's supporters page run by her family and her's is every bit as bad  her father and sister in particular are nasty, horrible people so for me, Becky didn't fall far from the tree

I've stated before that i live in Northern Ireland, i love the country and the people are the most friendly you'll find anywhere. I think it's disgusting to lump them all together as being as vile as Conor, it's not on. After all Jay was English and no one thought all the english were like him! Conor's mother didn't help matters though by saying it was 'the irish culture' and the 'irish sense of humour'. She was classing them all the same and others just jumped on the bandwagon. She has to take some of the blame imo.

I'm on facebook and i'm sick of deleting links to Conors fan page appearing on my timeline. They seem to think that because i live in Ireland i must support him, i dont ....and , infact, only know one person around here who does and i think she's got the message now that i'm not interested

I do Lee. I was brought up hating my history because I'm German. It's not you, it's not you're friends or family. It just happens to be a Derry boy who'se a bad apple and his family are excusing him, which is what riles. If his mum came on and said that she was disgusted by what he said about Deana, I would have some respect, but she nominated her. Sorry.

I agree Katty..... and Lee please don't get upset, i think we are all safer staying in GaGa, we may not always see things the same way but we're like a little family and have more dignity than those bigger sites imo.

Ch5 seem to think any publicity is good for them no matter how vile it gets.

Conor's mother tried to excuse him by saying people don't understand the culture. I said back then that I never saw his remark as a cultural thing but part his personality - which he is responsible for, not Ireland. Same as all the other nasty stuff that's being said on different sites/FB etc. Tbh I don't see or think about what culture people belong to I think about their personality, how they behave towards others whether they're English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh or any other nationality. It's all down to personal responsibility.

If his parents and friends had distant themselves from his comments, I would have some respect for them, but they didn't and, what's more, they started this hateful campaigne on FB which was closed today only to be opened again a few minutes later as  closed thread. I have no respect for them.

I totally agree YR ...he is just a horrible person full stop ! And C5 seem to be revelling in all the disgusting behaviour ( both on and off the programme)! They have brought the programme to an all time low.... And as far as I'm concerned it ceased being entertainment weeks ago !
