She came across very badly the last time she was interviewed, and appeared very similar in attitude to Caroline herself. I suspect she's had a lot of criticism (at the very least!) over it, and I can understand why she chose to give a prepared statement which could be checked beforehand and would be read in a neutral manner. I think she deserves some credit for still being prepared to support Caroline in some fashion...
