Hmmm.  One plus point is that it's convenient for London Bridge - that's if you want London Bridge to be convenient of course.  But, there's the excellent Borough Market just along the way, and that's always worth a nosey around.

I've driven past the Shard since they 1st began building it.  Watched it go up in stages and for the life of me I shall moider someone for a chance to go right to the top.  Makes the Monument across the water look tiddly.

Cosi! My son works next to it, and over the last 2/3 years I have had progress reports about it. Last christmas they put lights on in it, and it looked like a giant lit up christmas tree. He sent me a photo from his 'phone.

I think it is a bit pricey though to go up to the top to see the view. ÂĢ25..........phew.

Hiya, Sez   I bet your lad's had a few cricked necks along the way too!

Last time I went past, I had to stick my head out of the window to see the top

You can see it all the way back from The Oval, which is pretty impressive I reckon!

I'd love to have seen the Xmas lights

I bet someone will post something on YouTube if all else fails, and I reckon it'll be all over the tv breakfast programmes tomorrow..... if not before.

Not seen anything in the listings though.
