There are some pretty clever spybots around you know... I was talking in PM on here to someone who mentioned they'd had new windows fitted and who had fitted them. Next morning I had an email offer from that window company - so the mods might not see your pms but the spybots do.

I have asked Lori about this and she is certain that the spyboys cannot get your email address from this site. She is going to ask the developers about this though to see what they say.

I don't know how these things work El... maybe it's nicked it from my pc somehow - but it's way too much of a coincidence for that company to have emailed me less than 24 hours after we talked about it surely? It's no biggie.. it's only a hotmail address, I was torn between being outraged and being impressed tbh

It could be just a strange coincidence. Some time ago I was rung by someone as he was looking for someone to do his accounts & tax return. After we chatted I agreed to go and see him, and it turned out that unknown to him he lived next door to my parents.
3 hours later an insurance broker rang me looking for business. I told him about the man who had rung me looking for an accountant. The reason why the insurance broker knew me was because he knew me from the time when I was living with my parents and at that time he lived where the man who rung me now lived.
