Raining in South Shields since about 5pm but nothing torrential 

Tis now peeing down 

Curtains closed and I'm in bed, I'm not even going to look outside.

I didn't sign on the bet 

it's been raining none stop here today but it's still very warm

Wierd innit Aims. It's been raining since tea time here and so oddly warm  

That's how it was here last week Sprout,like a darn monsoon.Bad flooding in lots of places,the water was right up to my front doorstep,roads were inaccessible for days .

Link to the new online site showing map and details of all flood alerts and the areas potentially affected. It has its limitations and says:

FloodAlerts does not provide information on flood depth, speed or volume of flow. It doesn't show flooding from other sources, such as groundwater, direct runoff from fields, or overflowing sewers. Your local Environment Agency Office may have more information on these."

Although the map shows Scotland and Ireland it only shows warnings issued for England and Wales.

Raining here,again....The mess from last weeks floods is bad,cars had driven over the landscaped areas trying to get access ,many getting stuck ,the council cleared up most of the mess but what were lovely grassed areas now resemble a racetrack.

It's sunny here at the moment but the dark clouds are gathering again

Very windy here with rain on and off....wouldnt say it was warm

Heavy rain earlier, light rain now. It's a bit brighter but quite blustery.

And yet a few miles away it's been lovely all day.  I've even had washing out on the line to dry.

Of course, I had a word with the big man so it was good for your visit
