Ooh. Ooooh. Oooooooooooooh!!!
Feckers, the lot of em!!!
No I'm not talking about BB, but an agency I'm with.
The last couple of weeks, I've been signed up to an agency that specialises in getting you job interviews for teaching English abroad. I've been interested teaching in South Korea so the agency has made a point of contacting schools for me.
About a week and half ago the agency told me they have secured an interview with a School. It would be a telephone interview, at 9am (my time). The agency asked for my telephone number so they could pass it onto the school. I gave them my mobile and my home number, just in case there were any issues with my mobile. Anyway, the day came around for the interview: I got up super early, to prepare myself for the interview, go through the questions i want to ask, to get nervous, to constantly visit the toilet due to the nerves, to get all apprehensive, to get excited and to hope this could be the start of a new life - all for the school to not even bother phoning.
Okay, i thought, maybe it was just one of those things. I contacted the agency to say the school hadn't phoned and the said not to worry about it, we'll just keep on looking for you. How nice, i thought.
So a week goes by and i get another interview offer with a different school, in South Korea. The agency asks if i would like an interview on the 15th (today), again at 9am, so I said yes.
Again, I get up super early, spend a few hours sat on the toilet (from nerves), mentally prepare myself... and AGAIN... no phone call. I wait it out a few hours and by about midday, I contact the agency to say the school didn't phone me.
An hour or so later, the agency gets back to me saying that the school has been trying to phone me, the phone has been ringing and I have not been answering their calls. I respond saying that my phone hasn't rung once today, so something is clearly not right. The agency replies back, with my mobile number, asking if this is the correct number as thats the one they sent... I took a look at it and NO!!! It wasn't the frigging correct number!!!!!
I then started to doubt myself, thinking maybe i had incorrectly typed out my number wrong. I went for my email history, found the email and saw that not only had I given my CORRECT mobile number, I had also given my CORRECT HOME number.
So all this pissing time the agency has been given multiple schools, around South Korea a wrong phone number, and from the looks of it didn't even bother sending my Home number to them as a back up!!!!!!
RAAAAAGEEE!! Ooh, I'm so angry i could rip a piece of toilet paper in half!!!!!!
I need someone to cheer me up with an amusing anecdote, whilst I contemplate what to do with the rest of my life.
Bloomin dick'eads!
