Got to say Renton the final and the three weeks leading up to it are the worst bit of BB for me...boring nicey nicey falsey falsey.Its about 3 to 5 weeks in that are usually the best then it starts to nosedive

I get all a quiver towards the end cos i have made mine choices and got me fave.

If I worked nights I'd book holiday for finals night. Would be awful to miss the final if you've been following all through the series. I went on holiday actually on final night when the BB (Aisleyne) was on - I had my kids texting me all the news as it happened 

Rawky's favourites are always out way before the final night! 

I didn't say it was wrong, but wouldn't you like to save it for going away, on your holibobs? For that day or two rest when you get back?

Okay, I'll admit. I am watching it in dribs and drabs, but there's no intrigue or excitement there. The last few episodes, with the new style of editing, have reminded me why i stopped watching last years series.

Give me about 4-5 more days, and I'll be done 

C'mon Rawky. Most places these days give at least 4 weeks A/L in the year, so I think one night used for the final is not really going to seriously compromise the ability to have a few extra for your main holidays.

Each to their own i guess.

Was not going to watch this year after last year, but been catching a few mins of each night. This year looks to be the worst I have seen. Some terrible people and Brian Dollshead - can't stick him.

For me they have to make it interesting in some way, but as Amythist says, takes a few weeks to bed in. Also I agree that last couple of weeks are too false.

They need to get some wedges driven between people, create conflict.

At the moment we have people sitting around going "you are so unique", "that is true love", "you are so inspirational", "everyone is fantastic", "everyone is amazing" blah blah blah, same old same old.

Victoria should not have gone, but Lydia another one who is trying to crawl out of the shadow of a more high profile partner - who cares.

I remember him as Saint too and I'm sure some others do too, but we've been calling him Renton for quite a long time now, So it might just be a slip of the finger for the main part.

I even remember him telling us why he changed and why he chose Renton. Unfortunately I can't remember what those reasons were. :lauggh:

Rawky - i have 4weeks holiday and BB finals night is always a yearly highlight for me. its only one day after all

We work with evil people and wud deliberately deny me a day off IF they knew it was for BB

So i need to know well in advance - HELP PLEASE !!!

Monday seems an odd day to finish - imagine if its Sunday!!! I'm at work

IDEA !!!! I shall play down my interest in BB saying its rubbish this year ... then throw a sickie IF the last day is Sunday 12th !!!

Friday the 10th is showing as an eviction followed by BOTS live from the BB garden 

places I have read have said Monday 13th with CBB starting 15th leaving one day to turn the house round 

we should know from the guide by Sat

BB final & CBB launch dates

 

We can confirm that the final of this year's Big Brother will be taking place on Monday 13th August and the launch of Celebrity Big Brother will be on Wednesday 15th August.

 

There will also be a very special episode of Big Brother's bit on the Side on Tuesday 14th August.

 

Get these dates in your diary as you won't want to miss a moment of this BB excitement.
