I said a pot. I lied, there were 5 of us, so I got a 5th of the pot spread on, then scraped off my lunch time bread.

And I remember being made ham sarnies and given cartons of umbongo to take on school trips and by the time you got round to eating them - warm! **gags more** and if you had spread or paste, the smell was vile this started out making me want a burger, now I just feel gaggy!!

I hate tomatoes in sandwiches, unless it is made a minute before I eat it.

I have memories of 'seaside sandwiches'.  Boiled egg, boiled tomatoes mixed with salad cream, eaten at the seaside and there was always ALWAYS sand in them. Soggy Soggy Crunch.

I loved that ........................have been known to buy a jar every now and again for old times sake. My son was (is) addicted to Primula - it was the only thing he'd have in his sandwiches every single school day throughout his school career.

Just plain Primula mind - none of the fancy bits in it.

Never tried the Primula but the thought of it make me gag a little

LOL, I didn't know about this! I suppose it does look more like a Giraffe pattern.

I think I might get some Primula and chive, and eat it with celery like I used to ages ago. I loved it. Not sure about burger cheese though!
