Stuttering and clunky; driving me nuts.

We DID do a software update today. That happened close to three hours ago, however, and we thought it was running better since the update. Is that not the case?

SHOULD be better than it's been...especially if you've had trouble getting into the longer threads.

The work on it continues, though...apparently the software is very complex.

FYI, I've been told that they are working on the databases affecting the whole system, so there may be some slowness as a result. He says he's almost done, though.

And frankly the mods have got it right.

Hopefully the problem I've had for a few weeks will be resolved. After reading a thread I click the back button to go back to where all threads are listed but I'm returned to the thread I've been reading and can't get out of it. Only way is to click on another Fave site/Forum I visit and after visting that click on the link for here.

Try clicking one of the 'recent topics' from the list on the right - or use the navigation path at the top - might be quicker than going to another site and back.

Aimee, what's "the normal way" for you?

I was having a similar problem, in that my link to the home page was sometimes working fine and sometimes 'connecting' endlessly, but my link directly to the BB forum always seemed to connect right away, but everything seems to be linking OK just now.

The home page has been causing a problem that they are (still) working on, although they've managed to improve the performance.
