have it in my front garden. it's Mr woos putting green. I think it's pretty good - saves mowing etc. It's been down for just over a year now and I was thinking yesterday was it looking a bit jaded. It might just have been the light - I wouldn't want it in my back garden instead of lovely fresh grass though TBH. Then again it's not me that does the mowing.
I(we) have dug up the garden, lifted all patios and am going to have it layed,I just wondered if I am making the right decision. I have so much trouble with foxes, there are 4 cubs running around outside at the moment, they are so cute just like puppies ( but I hate them and so do my dogs)..The back of my garden is taken up by a huge Koi pond, and lots of trees, perfect for foxes..We have fenced it off and hopefully they will stay in *their* garden and me and my dogs can have our end back...PS..I HATE cutting grass!!!
I mowed our front lawn the other day. I quite enjoy it.

I like cutting the grass but hate doing the hedges
I love the smell of freshly cut grass...I'll leave it to my lovely neighbours to give me that pleasure...
I'm SOOOOOOOO considering doing this!
Ipswich resident Steve Woolnough was left with only a large patch of dirt where his 100-square-foot artificial grass lawn should be.
The 52-year-old father of two told The Sun: "I'm absolutely seething over it, I really am. How dare someone steal what I have had to work hard for?
"You try and make your house look nice and someone comes along and steals what you have got."
The lawn was reportedly stolen overnight on March 19.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: "It would have taken some time to remove such a large quantity of Astro Turf from this garden and needed a vehicle to take it away."
Woolnough said at the time that the artificial grass would cost about ÂĢ250 to replace.
It was reported yesterday that local firm Citigrass had replaced the lawn free of charge, and Woolnough had installed CCTV at his house to prevent further thefts.
