Just don't expect there to be a second series of this as the series was dropped. There were rumours that a one-off film might be made, but nothing yet.

Another series which was dropped after one short series was Key West from 1993. It starred Fisher Stevens and Jennifer Tilly. Very enjoyable comedy series, shown very late at night on Channel 4 and not available on DVD. One of Jennifer Tilly's best roles.

Bad news for Flashforward too:-

"In May 2010, ABC announced that FlashForward had been cancelled."

I liked both The Event and Flashforward, and was so bummed that they were cancelled.

It seems to me that the 'good' ones are always cancelled and the 'dross' is left to run ad nauseum!

Anyone remember Firefly?

I never saw the series of Firefly, but I did see the follow up film Serenity.

Stargate Universe starts tonight on Freeview at 9. It's being shown on Pick so anyone interested might not have spotted it. Stars Robert Carlyle. Of course he's now in Once Upon a Time so that may tell you that Stargate Universe was another series which got cancelled, but they did make 2 series of it.
