The woman who sang three of the songs also appeared in the Swedish drama, and then seemed to cast votes. David Platt was also in the swedish

I ended up having an ad hoc tackytastic Euro party with some of my neighbours. Wasn't the best eurovision in memory but still had a great time.

I've just had a mind-boggling realisation.....that woman with the snake round her neck who screamed at us (obviously in agony) for the while of her time on stage, not only got some points, but got more than either the UK or Norway! 
The latter two entries did at least bear some resemblance to songs.
