The inventor of the TV remote has died. Really can't imagine life without it now can you? I bet it was revolutionary in it's time. Although adored by couch potatoes I don't suppose it was helpful to their health as changing channel was probably the only exercise they got (feel like that myself sometimes).
I'll bet kids today would find it quite incredible to have to get up to 'turn the telly over'
